FreeRTOS+TCP is still in the lab
FreeRTOS+TCP is already used in
commercial products and we encourage
you to try it yourself.
Be aware however that we are
still refining its design, and the
source code and documentation do not
yet meet Real Time Engineers Ltd's strict quality standards.

void vReleaseNetworkBuffer( uint8_t *pucPayloadBuffer );
Returns to the TCP/IP stack an
that was previously obtained from the TCP/IP stack.
vReleaseNetworkBuffer() would normally only be used by a zero copy driver
to release buffers that were previously allocated to DMA descriptors.
Normally network buffers are allocated and released along with
vReleaseNetworkBuffer() must not be called from an interrupt service routine (ISR).
A pointer to the Ethernet buffer being released
(returned to the TCP/IP stack).
