FreeRTOS Video Screen Casts

Note: These screen casts are very old. Both FreeRTOS and the FreeRTOS.org website have changed massively since they were recorded. A lot of the information is still relevant.

This screen cast demonstrates how to get up and running as quickly as possible. Notes:

  • All screen casts contain an audio commentary.
  • Each screen cast is sectioned into 5 minute parts. After viewing a section, press the 'back' button on your browser to get back to this page so you can select the next part of the series.

Screen cast #1 - FreeRTOS quick start guide

Partitioned into 4 equal length parts.

This first screen cast is intended to get you up and running as quickly as possible by guiding you through the FreeRTOS source code and website. It does not attempt to describe any of the more generic technical aspects of using real time kernels in embedded systems as this will be the topic for future videos.
