Is there an x86 port that I could boot
from a floppy or CD and run on a PC?

Yes - the PC port. Use FreeDOS to boot, then autoexec.bat to call the FreeRTOS app. Only real mode though. It would be good if somebody created a 32bit version. Any takers?
