Posted by gary smith on April 4, 2010
I would like to know if there is a known port of the freeRtos that is ported to the msp430fg4618 architecture and if so can any one provide me with a detailed link that has step by step instructions on how to get this os to run with the specified architecture??

Thank you

If this is a standard msp430 then the ports and projects in the FreeRTOS download will give you a very good start. If it is an extended architecture then try starting with the files available on http://westmorelandengineering.com/

Dear davedoors:

I am having trouble configuring FreeRTOS to use with the MSP430FG4618. I checked http://westmorelandengineering.com for an appropriate port, but did not find one. Have you used FreeRTOS with MSP40FG4618? If so, could you provide some guidelines?

Thank you,
Anne
