Porting FreeRTOS to Blackfin

Posted by penguin007 on September 6, 2017

Is there any support for Blackfin? I saw someone has asked in the forum, but the answer is negative. The only RTOS for blackfin supported by ADI is Micrium, but that is really EXPENSIVE.

There is a port in the Analog Devices section of the FreeRTOS Interactive site, but it is VERY old: https://interactive.freertos.org/hc/en-us/community/topics/200480066-Analog-Devices

Hi, I don't know if you are still interested in FreeRTOS for Blackfin but ADI has released an updated port of FreeRTOS for Blackfin BF7xx processors. While we are working on getting this into the official release of FreeRTOS you can find a patch zip file here on the analog.com website:
